Northern Bukidnon State College Extends Service to Valencia Colleges, Inc. through Outcome-Based Education Training
On January 14, 2025, Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) conducted a Training on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) at Hotel de Susana, Valencia City, Bukidnon. The event, attended by the faculty and staff of Valencia Colleges, Inc. (VCI), underscores NBSC’s dedication to the implementation of outcomes -based education, aimed at supporting and uplifting educational practices in neighboring institutions.
The training sought to improve academic quality by guiding participants in refining course syllabi and aligning them with the principles of Outcome-Based Education. The event featured Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs of NBSC, and Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, KALAMPUSAN Program Officer, as resource speakers.
Dr. Delosa delivered a comprehensive discussion on the fundamentals of OBE, emphasizing its transformative role in achieving meaningful and measurable course outcomes. Meanwhile, Dr. Go provided practical guidance on crafting well-defined course learning outcomes, equipping participants with actionable strategies to enhance curriculum design.
